A long-time rock climber, James sold his first pictures while rigging on the side of Yosemite’s El Capitan. He loved capturing the emotions of climbers on majestic walls.

As he progressed as a photographer, James continued to focus on capturing deep feelings, transitioning from shooting on the walls to weddings and capturing dozens of weddings, engagements, and elopements across the US.
